MISSION STATEMENT
The South Shore Mustangs Major Midget Hockey Club operates in an environment of respect and integrity in all of each member’s activities. We foster the development of young hockey players at the rink and in their communities. Our goal is to provide opportunity to players wanting to get to the next level. We provide a program for hockey players to learn, excel and achieve.
TEAM PHILIOSOPY
We, the team exist and thrive through the commitment of character hockey players with future ambitions. We, the team exist with players who sacrifice for the team and have the burning desire to succeed at their goals. We, the team exist with players who set the standard of a quality individual in everything they do. Team achievement is the result of the character, discipline and the desire that lies within.
CODE OF CONDUCT
A Mustang will always act in a Professional manner, be respectful to family, coaches, teammates, officials, teachers, but most importantly, themselves. We must possess integrity, toughness, honesty, truth, reliability, and commitment. It is the duty of a Mustang to be at his Best. When we are at our Best, the team is Successful!
We will develop trust for each other and all of our stakeholders by demonstrating respect for the uniqueness of every individual. This will help us build a confident, creative, and disciplined team possessing a high degree of initiative.
We will never accept the status quo and firmly believe that sustained success will result from our collective ability to continually strive to improve each and every aspect of what we do and who we are.
We shall act with fairness and integrity in everything we do. In addition, we do not accept half-hearted efforts, but rather insist upon personal responsibility, accountability, and a commitment to excel from each of our team members.
